This was the second song I wrote. A few of the comments left said it was a little droning which I do agree with but I wrote the song in 5 minutes so I guess that doesn't suprise me. I created this composition using my Epiphone Les Paul studio edition guitar with a boss heavy metal distortion pedal for the intro verse and chorus. I used a digitech chorus, digitech flanger, and the boss distortion on the solo guitar part. The guitar solo was actually writen improv. I turned the main song on play and started recording a solo when it came time for it. If I had the time and my sisters bass I would add a bass line to the mix. I don't have a great "metal" voice so unfortunatly I can't do any main vocals only a backing vocal. The input/feedback I'm looking for is honest, if you think it sucks just say it I won't be hurt. If you think something needs added or changed I would also like to know that as well.

The Awakening

This was the first song I wrote. The chorus for the song is divided up into two guitar parts. The interesting thing about the guitar parts is that they are a reverse of each other. Guitar two plays the same thing as guitar one it just starts a phrase later. The song sticks with one effect, a heavy metal boss distortion pedal. If I had more time with this song I would find a way to incorporate a lighter bridge into it somewhere. The input/feedback I'm looking for is honest, if you think it sucks just say it I won't be hurt. If you think something needs added or changed I would also like to know that as well.

A Few Things About Me
